New And Inventive Water Machines
There must be hundreds of water machines on the market – just do a Google search.
Clean, pure drinking water is needed throughout the world and is quickly becoming the most highly prized resource of all. Although, 97% of the earth’s water is in the oceans. It is undrinkable and is unusable for most culinary and commercial purposes. Only three (3) percent of the world’s water is fresh. Of this three percent, two-thirds is locked in glaciers and polar ice caps. Of the remaining one percent of the earth’s water, about half is located beneath the earth’s surface.
Rivers and lakes contain approximately 1/50th of one percent of the earth’s water. A significant portion of this fraction has been contaminated by industrial civilization, and much of the remaining “freshwater” is severely polluted or biologically contaminated. Unfortunately, this pollution has begun to reach our underground water as well. Continually, on any given day, more than one-half of the earth’s human population is ill, with the majority of these cases caused by waterborne contaminants.
The World Health Organization of the United Nations estimates that eighty percent of this illness is caused by contaminated drinking water. Many countries throughout the world, not just third world countries, have inadequate water treatment facilities, or a complete lack of treatment facilities. It is becoming clear that new technologies are needed in every segment of the water treatment industry: agriculture, horticulture, food processing, industrial waste treatment, public water supplies, and sewage treatment. These systems must be environmentally-friendly and rely on methods and processes that are not chemically based.
Water machine products are best described as atmospheric water generators. Air2Water is among one of these, that is a family of water generating machines which uses innovative yet simple technique (patented and developed by Worldwide Water, Inc.) that extracts pure drinking water from the air. The machine first pulls air through an electrostatic filter removing 93% of all air borne particles. As the machine collects the water it drops into a collection tray and immediately passes into Ultraviolet (UV) light, where the water stays in contact with UV rays for approximately 30 minutes. This kills 99.9% of all germs and bacteria in the water. Then the water is pumped through a sediment screen into a 24 volt water pump, and back by two (2) solid carbon block one micron water filters, NSF 53 approved, that removes 99.9% of any volatile organic chemicals (VOC’s) that may be in the water. It also filtered through our proprietary Ultrafiltration (UF) with membrane pore size of 0.015 micron to remove virtually all bacteria and common viruses. The water then goes through a half calcite, half GAC mineral additive where it is then pumped into a reservoir tank. The water is then recycled every hour through the UV and back into the reservoir tank. The water is then chilled or heated and dispensed to the consumers.
One of Time magazine’s best inventions for 2006 is called the Rainmaker. Arthur C Clarke the science-fiction writer. Clarke once wrote that “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” Case in point: this water-harvesting machine, which can pull up to 500 gal. of drinkable water per day out of thin air. Its precise workings aren’t public, but they use a chemical process similar to the one that causes salt to absorb moisture from the air (and clump up your saltshaker). The water machine isn’t particularly portable–its 20 ft. long–but it will be a godsend for disaster victims or troops in desert combat.
These are just two of the many machines that are on the market to provide clean drinking water.

Discover Some Facts About Carbonated Water
We have seen that drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day is essential to optimum health. We have also seen that many people like to drink water that has some type of flavor. Carbonation has opened up a whole new arena of drinking liquids to satisfy almost every taste. It is the process of dissolving carbon dioxide to form carbonic acid which gives a slight burning sensation when we drink a can of soda, for instance.
Seltzer and sparkling water are treated with carbon dioxide to give it its effervescent quality. The gas, or fizz that is released out manifests itself in the bubbles we can see in the soda or when we take off the cork of a sparkling wine bottle. It also makes a fizzy sound that excites the champagne and the persons who drink beer.
An interesting observation came up when researching articles on carbonation. It is said that all carbonated beveragesare not created equal. Some can have more carbon dioxide added to it, depending on the required result. In higher concentrations carbon dioxide is toxic : 1% (10,000 ppm) will make some people feel drowsy. Concentrations of 7% to 10% cause unbalance of the body headache, difficulties in visual and hearing , and unconsciousness within a few minutes to an hour.
Introducing carbon dioxide (CO2) into a beverage increases its weight. To prove this, weigh a bottle of seltzer, then carefully remove the cap so that no liquid escapes. Weigh the bottle again when the gas has been removed. A significant decrease in the weight can be seen. Shaking the bottle when it is closed then opening it will release more CO2 , which reduces its weight. Is this the reason that daily use of these drinks causes obesity?
Club soda is also carbonated water of identical composition or it might have table salt and other minerals. These additives are put in to imitate the taste of homemade soda water. It is believed that carbonated water contain high amounts of sodium, but this is not true. No anything else has been added to this water except carbon dioxide. You can drink carbonated water alone when you feel thirsty or with alcoholic beverages.
CARBONATED WATER
You can make your own homemade brand of carbonated waterwith a soda siphon. Fill the bottle with water, recap it, then attach it to a small cylinder of carbon dioxide, sometimes called as a “charger”. Only food grade cylinders should be used as other types might contain lubricants in them. Screw the cylinder on till the time it is not pierced, releasing the CO2 gas into it. Then shake the bottle properly. The bubbles will be smaller when compared to those in commercially made brands. Once homemade carbonated water is prepared, It is time to add fruit flavors from allfreightfree.com to enhance the flavor of your drink.

natural organic foods
Many companies have increased sales with the higher demand for natural organic products, in fact the shopper is much more aware what he/she buys and makes the selection more rigorously. Natural organic products speak of a quality and health promise because of the special non-processed form of the ingredients. Presently, vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy products have labels with the organic certification to inform the shopper on their validity. In fact, lots of supermarket chains have special contracts with exclusive suppliers of natural organic products, and this influences positively the price policy applied.
The dissemination of information: this is another criterion to extend the use of natural organic products. People want to be informed and need all sorts of materials to learn about the benefits to go organic. Market studies reveal the fact that there is quite a number of people who do not know how to shop for natural organic products because of this very improper access to information. The advantages of organic foods are the main aspects one should be aware of in order to make a smart purchase. Thus, it suffices to say that the nutritional value of organic food is much higher than that of regular products. Thus, there are more vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and healthier proteins.
There are other specifics closely connected with the purchase of natural organic products. When organic food is favored, there are more benefits than you can suspect: thus, the environment suffers from a lot less pressure, for instance. This is the reason why people who choose to live a green life ban products treated with chemicals. With the increased exposure of natural organic products there may be surprises in the evolution of the food market in the future.
Will natural organic products preserve a high quality level? Will there be a corruption at the heart of the system and even organic items will undergo some processing? Will regular crops disappear? One can definitely predict, but the truth is that the future is constantly being written and re-written. It is easy to understand why in the context of a more organic-demanding market, many regular food producers will adapt to the new conditions. However, the problem of this adjustment is the potential deterioration of the high quality of the natural organic products. It therefore remains to be seen which will win the battle of regular vs. organic.

benefits of organic foods
The food available in supermarkets is often packed with chemicals and in the conditions of a rapid health deterioration of the population, it’s no wonder that more and more consumers turn to natural organic foods. Although analyses between non-conventional and conventional foods are relevant, the rule of the common sense is the one that influences the purchase decision. The dangers that lurk in non-organic foods are hormones, antibiotics, pesticides and fertilizers. The non-organic livestock grow in very harsh conditions, while the fruit and vegetables are synthetically stimulated to look great and take the consumer’s eye. By contrast, very little human intervention is manifest in the growth of natural organic foods.
Natural organic foods may also have traces of chemical residues, but these are usually drifted from nearby farms that rely on chemicals for crop production. Furthermore, with natural organic foods there are a lot more nutrients and fewer threats for the health. Let’s take eggs for instance, analyses indicate that besides the lack of hormones and antibiotics, there is less saturated fat, less cholesterol, more Vitamin A, twice more Omega-3 acids, huge amounts of beta-carotene and seven times more Vitamin E than in non-organic eggs. The difference is more than apparent, not to mention that the protein quality is incredible.
The word has traveled far about the positive aspects of natural organic foods, and since not all geographic areas benefit from the direct access to organic retailers, it is good to know that many of the products can be now ordered online from the closest source. If you want to buy natural organic foods, it is more likely to find them at the market than in hypermarkets. Moreover, producers of natural organic foods are more likely to be found in the countryside; therefore take the best of any trip. Run a basic research and check for supplies.
The only disadvantage of natural organic foods is their price, because they are between 10% and 40% more expensive than non-organic foods. When it comes to fruits and vegetables, take a look at the products and you’ll see the difference right away: there will be no flawless strawberries or apples, but various fruit sizes, some better than others. Although it is more difficult to tell the difference for meat, go shopping in markets and supermarkets and you’ll find what you need!

Wine Glass Types – The Top 3
The type of glass that you drink a certain wine from is not something most people think matters. The taste remains the same right? Well, you might be surprised to here that it is becoming every more popular to have various wine glasses in the cabinet for the drinking of different types of wine.Mr Riedel (the famous wine ware producer) has his grandfather to thank for the different shaped glasses as he first came up with the concept of altering the size and shapes for better drinking.Lots of people have since agreed with the thinking of Riedel’s grandfather and are convinced that differences can be highlighted. One of the most passionate being Shaun Green, a buyer for K & L Wine Merchants in San Francisco who says “It really does make a difference”. Riedel now have over 40 different types of wine glass but if you can’t afford, or haven’t got space for these glasses in your wooden wine cabinets, which ones are vital to own?
Red Wine – You really need a big-bowled smooth and basic glass for the drinking of red wine. The improves the way one can swirl the wine around the glass and develop its full spectrum of flavours. It will also let you fit the whole nose into the glass easily to pick up the maximum flavours in the smell
White Wine – A smaller-bowled glass with a higher rim is needed for drinking white wine. The creates a nice compact space for the flavours to swell and prevents any of the aroma from exiting the glass.
Champaign – The long thin iconic flute shape of the Champaign glass is needed to drink this luxury product. The flute preserves the bubbles better than any other shape and the small circumference prevents the strong gases from the bubbles overpowering the sinuses.
All other wines basically fit into these three categories and the three styles of glass will compliment each one well. So if your missing any, go buy them now.

organic bread
The benefits of organic foods become apparent to anyone concerned with the downside of the highly processed food. When we refer to the difference between organic and conventional food, we don’t necessarily imply that between an apple grown organically and another regular one. We should actually stress out the health benefits of organic foods first and foremost.
Organic food represents part of the recommended diet for people who suffer from various chronic conditions like cancer for instance. Although lots of people claim that there is little difference in terms of nutrients, the absence of hormones and chemicals from organic food works great for the promotion of a state of well-being. Lots of consumer analyses do not insist on the difference in nutritional value, there are studies however that point out to the superiority and the benefits of organic foods in this sense.
It seems that among the benefits of organic foods we ought to include more vitamin C, higher levels of trace minerals and plenty of anti-oxidant nutrients. A report issued by the US Department of Agriculture shows that there has been a significant decline in the minerals levels of meat, dairy and vegetables since 1940 in terms of regular non-organic crops. The present-day extensive storage and the intense processing of the crops further lowers the quality of conventional foods.
Surprising benefits of organic foods include the higher content of dry matter. Under the influence of fertilizers, there is a higher water retention in fruits and vegetables. Thus, a non-organic apple gives less food than an organic one. Nevertheless, besides the different amounts of nutrients, there are other advantages to organic food.
First of all, there are almost no pesticide residues in organic products. Even if conventional food producers say that pesticides are no threat to human health, one doesn’t have to be all knowledgeable to realize that the ingestion of anything chemical cannot help or be 100% safe for the system. The benefits of organic foods are much insisted on at present, with more and more people choosing them over conventional foods. Gradually this high popularity will definitely trigger a shift of the market and even a reformulation of the standards that define organic food in its essence.

How To Control Bacteria and Have a Safer Barbeque Party
Long ago, barbequing was primarily a summer activity.Which made sense because grilling was done on charcoal and it took 30 minutes or better for the coals to “gray out”. and then you need to add another 15 to 20 minutes for cooking the meat.
Now a days with the modern gas grill, a grill can be at perfect grilling temperature in just minutes basically cutting the prep time in half. Along with this efficiency has come a longer grilling season that now even includes winter. Now that people are barbequing out all year long, safely preparing and barbequeing foods has become more important.
So Let’s Get Right Down to it With Some Important Barbequing Safety Tips.
Firstly, make sure you carefully inspect the expiration dates on any meats purchased. Seriously folks, supermarket workers make mistakes. Often unsafe meat goes home with some unfortuante person. Let it not be your friends and family. It only takes a second to check so make the effort.
Secondly, when marinating make sure to marinate in the refrigerator. Don’t put your meat in the marinate and leave it out on the counter. Bacteria forms very quickly. So it’s a good idea to be safe and marinate your meats in the refrigerator – especially if you’re thinking of doing an overnight marinate.
Thirdly, separate juicy meats like chicken from the other foods you buy. Separate them with plastic bags. Chicken is particularly a “dirty” meat. Juice in packaged chicken will very quickly cross contaminate other foods in your grocery bag.
Lastly, don’t let your meats come up to room temperature. Take them out of the refrigerator and throw them directly on the grill. And never let them sit in the sun while you’re prepping other things for your barbeque. Again bacteria very rapidly multiply in favorable conditions: read warm temperatures.
Following these simple tips will ensure that you have delicious but more importantly safe barbeque.

Wonderful Tast of Chicekn Fried Steak
For those that happen to enjoy an unusual cross of flavors and styles, chicken fried steak is a thing that should be experienced. A cross between the classic taste of steak and the straightforward joys of fried chicken, this increasingly popular method of cooking steak is a wonderfully memorable mix of different flavors. Casual, yet dignified, it is a meal that distinguishes itself with its adaptability and accessible nature. Which makes chicken fried steak the kind of meal that will fit a selection of occasions.
Cooking chicken fried steak is not so not easy to make. All it requires is a steak, breadcrumbs, oil and a pan or deep fryer. Simply cover the filet in breadcrumbs, warm the oil in the skillet or deep fryer, and cook the steak until it is done. If it is being made in a skillet, it needs to be flipped every couple of mins but, otherwise, there’s little that must be done until the steak is done cooking.
It is very rare for chicken fried steak to be made of a top spec cut of beef. After all, the beef isn’t being expected to stand wholly on its own, so it isn’t crucial that it be perfect. In addition, the frying of the meat has a tenderizing effect on the meat, which also allows a marginally lower quality cut of beef to be used. Obviously, there is a limit, but chicken fried steak is more forgiving than steak on the grill. The part that actually makes the difference in chicken fried steak is the mix of spices that are added to the breadcrumbs. These spices are the savor that really makes the difference in the flavour of the filet and makes it particular on the palate. By mixing just the right combination of flavours, chicken fried steak can come into maturity and really shine.
But to get the best blend of spices, the best thing anybody can do is experiment. After all, there is only one person who will always be there to judge the results, and that is the person who cooks it. So any cook who wants to master chicken fried steak would be well-served to try some new things, take a few new things, take a few notes, and figure out just the way to make it just right.
Regardless of how you make chicken fried steak, it is virtually always a welcome addition to the menu. Whether for dinner after work, a Sun. brunch, a picnic, or a get-together with pals, chicken fried steak could be a fun addition to the menu. Unusual, yet familiar, it’s a meal that is a meal that is easy to enjoy and always welcome. Though it is only recently joined the mainstream, chicken fried steak is an increasingly favored meal both at home and when going out to eat. A distinctive blend of different tastes, it’s a meal that is beginning to get its correct due as a dish that is easily worth the effort. So give chicken fried steak a try and see why it is becoming the new recipe of choice for people who love steak.

Dirt Cake
A dirt cake is a fairly popular dessert treat. It’s popular for kids’ parties. The cake looks a lot like dirt. Eating dirt is kind of funny.
People should worry when their kids eat dirt instead of just dirt cake. It could be a sign that the child is retarded. It can be dangerous too. Animal feces in the dirt might attract parasites. Lead poisoning can also come from eating dirt. Sometimes children ingest small amounts of dirt. But for others it’s an obsession. Anemia can cause this behavior. Anemia is blood with too little iron. In such a case a vitamin or supplement that contains iron will help the child kick the habit.
Dirt cake isn’t really cake. It’s made with layers of cookie crumbs and pudding. It can be served in a flower pot. Many times it’s dished out with a shovel to add to the novelty. Add candy flowers for a real flower pot feel.
Many recipes for dirt cake can be found online. Perform a Google search. Over 420,000 sites result. Many of the recipes contain the same ingredients.
Dirt cake is prepared by crushing sandwich cookies, such as Oreos. These are layered with pudding and whipped topping. Add the last layer of cookies just before eating it. Overall it’s a very clever desert.
Any dieter will be cheating if they eat dirt cake. Almost every ingredient is fattening. Every serving is loaded with calories – 900 or more. Dieters know that’s a no no.
But healthy eating doesn’t preclude dirt cake. It’s all about moderation. Eat a very small piece. Or save it for the day you get a little treat. Diets depend on general habits. Everyone needs a little something special once in awhile.
Everyone loves dirt cake.

Getting Gourmet Food Gifts Online
It can safely be said that people of different persuasions and of different ages all love receiving gourmet food gifts regardless of the occasion and whether it is a birthday or even anniversary or for that matter Christmas and even Mother’s and Father’s Day, such gifts are most welcome. In fact, giving such gifts is one surefire method of pleasing the recipient since it helps to make them feel special and who doesn’t like biting into some tasty morsels of food?
Cheese Is Very Popular
Thus, it pays to learn about the most popular gourmet food gifts and also who to gift such items to. Perhaps, the first thing that comes to mind when choosing gourmet food gifts is to give someone, especially foodies, gourmet cheeses, especially those that are made in Spain, Italy, Ireland and England and also from the US. You could include genuine cheddars from England or true Brie from France and be sure that the person that receives such gourmet food gifts will truly appreciate receiving the gift and will also be able to savor them no end.
Also, by combining cakes and cheeses you can come up with some pretty excellent gourmet food gifts and cheesecakes are sure to make a person feel special and they are also very suited to bring along to a party and that too in different varieties including rich chocolaty truffle cheesecakes and those swirled with some candy.
And, if you want something other than cheese and cheesecake gourmet food gifts, why not consider giving baked foods that are well loved by most people? So, you may want to cook up some tasty cookies and even coffee cakes that are really worth giving as gifts, which would be most appreciated when laid out on a Christmas morning breakfast table.
And, chocolates are something that everybody loves and thus well worth including in gourmet food gifts, and with so many different chocolate types, you would have your hands full choosing from fudges, and exotic cream and nut filled chocolates. In fact, it is safe to say that there is perhaps no other item that is quite as loved as chocolates and they would make excellent gourmet food gifts items.
But, gourmet food gifts need not only contain foods since drinks too are especially popular and well loved by recipients and if you select some choice coffees that are well flavored or even think of giving flavored teas, your gourmet food gifts would have a special effect on the recipient. Including fine wines is also recommended and they may also be accompanied by fine cheese, though to ensure the recipient’s health, organic teas may make a better choice.
You now have a greater opportunity to create traditional and gourmet dishes in the comfort of your home. This can also be of great benefit to smaller catering companies and restaurants that need to locate ingredients at lower rates because of the Internet. There is a greater level of competition among gourmet food providers, because now anyone can buy from anywhere. SodaStream Makes Home Carbonation Systems
In 1903 the SodaStream brand of carbonation makers was launched.
When different concentrated syrups became available in the 1970s and 1980s, drink machines were developed that could add concentrates to create carbonated drinks in popular flavors. After a merger with Soda-Club the company offered its product as a way to make healthy drinks for kids.
The SodaStream drink maker consists of a small device that forces carbon dioxide into water, making it have a taste like soda pop. The system includes a machine, a canister of carbon dioxide, and reusable beverage bottles (suitable for pressurizing). The bottle, when filled with water, is screwed on to the machine, and with a push of the button ejects compressed CO2 from a canister into the bottle, making sparkling water (also called seltzer). There are a number of flavors which can be used to create regular soft drinks by adding a slight amount to the bottle of carbonated water. When the canister is out of CO2, you return it to the market and purchase a carbon dioxide (CO2) refill.
With so many categories of concentrate, different and unique flavors of soft drinks can be made. In the days when the systems were most popular, many well-known brands were available for SodaStream in the concentrates – such as Fanta, and Sunkist.
MilkStream, is a variation of the SodaStream, and was created for making milkshakes. Frothy, delicious milkshakes are produced by combining Ice cream, milk and Crusha syrup, and utilizing an extended wand into the glass.
The first machines made were rather large, and were sold to the upper classes of London, including, notably, the royal household. There were all kinds of flavors with odd names, including the famous sarsaparilla introduced in the 1920s. The first machine for home carbonation was produced in 1955.
SodaStream’s super popularity in the UK during the 1970s and 1980s is fueling its current association with nostalgia for that era. The advertising jingle in 1970s was, “Get busy with the fizzy.” The slogan was so popular that the company added it to its logo. In 1996 it was retired after 17 years of use.
Although commercially successful, the soft drinks made by these machines were perceived by some to be but a poor version of their commercial counterparts. One of the noticeable differences was that in addition to slightly different flavors of the produced drink, the SodaStream machine bubbles are larger and shorter-lived. Today this has changed, partly because of Aromhuset flavors for carbonated water, and Sodastream now is the leader in sparkling water.
Today, SodaStream is part of Soda-Club, and a number websites offer the opportunity to purchase products and/or order or reorder supplies as needed.
